All the major outdoor events in the 2010 Inverness Winter Festival are sponsored by the Inverness Common Good Fund and are free of charge .
You don't need to get a ticket in advance to get in to our free events.
All you need to do is dress up warmly and turn up with a smile.
Naturally if you have seriously overdone the pre-event cocktails, we reserve the right to refuse admission to you or the friend you are holding up.
All our events are family friendly gatherings and for those of you who are joining us for the first time we hope that you will help us ensure that the younger members of our community have a great time.
We were trying to work out what tickets for such a good Hogmanay Show would cost in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Three of the best bands we have seen on the same bill at a free gig is amazing. Well done Inverness. Over here in Aberdeen we are being offered nothing by our Council and you have put them to shame.
Me and my fiancee are coming from Glasgow for the Red Hot Highland Fling and we cant wait to see the Red Hot Chilli Pippers and also what a great idea for having it a free event as well cant wait should be a New Year to remember.
I think that it is fantastic that the Hogmanay event is free. Things have been really tough since I lost my job and being able to take the family out to the various Winter Festival events is helping make things a little bit easier. Thanks to everyone involved - your work is appreciated - and I love the line up for Hogmanay.
